Blanka left us quickly and unexpectedly, at a time when she still had great plans, dreams, and goals. She was a person of immense creative and positive energy. Wherever she went, she left behind a part of her work, her thinking, and her heart. She never worked “just for the sake of work” – she worked for people and with people. She believed that every challenge is an opportunity and always responded to it with a courageous “yes”. That is why, in 2000, she accepted an offer from the French group Arthur Hunt and became the owner of its Slovak branch, which she always guided with a clear vision, courage, and deep humanity. She was the soul and heart of the Arthur Hunt family – an inspiring leader and a source of courage for everyone around her.

In the final years of her professional life, Blanka devoted special attention to people at career crossroads and to professionals aged 55+. The 55+ project was, for her, a symbol of faith in the value of experience and the conviction that it is never too late to start again.

The passing of our mentor, colleague, and friend has affected everyone at Arthur Hunt and plus55 deeply. For the first time in our 25 years on the Slovak market, we experienced the theme of continuity not only as a principle, but as a personal reality. Under the leadership of our long-standing partners, Jana Schellingová and Katarína Bittalová, who have assumed the roles of Managing Partners, it is both an honor and a responsibility for us to carry Blanka’s legacy forward. We continue to support companies and candidates with the same courage, professionalism, and humanity that were natural to Blanka.
